The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program For Business is designed for businesses or businessmen who are prepared to make an investment in the province. The business person is required to control, or plan to control at least 33.33% of the equity in a business, or make a business investment of at least $1,000,000.

General Requirements

  • Minimum $1,000,000 CAD to invest in a new business.
  • No minimum personal net worth required.
  • Business ownership experience, or experience in a senior management role.
  • Comprehensive business plan
  • The investment must create at least 5 net permanent full-time jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents in Ontario.
  • Be actively involved in the day-to-day management of the business.
