The Yukon Business Nominee Program was designed for business applicants that wish to obtain the Canadian Permanent Residence visa for themselves and their families. Applicants should be willing to live in Yukon, and be prepared to create a new business or invest in an existing one in the Territory. The required net worth is $250,000 Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Nomination Criteria

• A minimum net worth of $250,000 CAD, including $150,000 CAD in liquid assets.
• A minimum of $150 000 CAD must be invested in a new business or an existing one, leading to equity ownership of at least 33.33% of the business. **This business cannot have been started by a previous business nominee within the past 5 years. The applicant must show that they will be managing the business on a day-to-day basis.
• A minimum of 5 years senior management or entrepreneurial experience in a business similar to one that you propose. This must be evidenced in the application.
• Make an exploratory visit to Yukon and meet with one of the Business and Industry Development Branch Program Officers.
• Demonstrate reasonable communication skills in one of Canada’s official languages (English and French).
